No Melt Snowman

Hopefully you have a couple extra foam craft pumpkins leftover from Halloween and if not check out your local craft store to see if they have any left on clearance.  If by chance your out of luck keep this one in your back pocket for next year.  A couple extra craft pumpkins laying around never hurts, they are fall decorations one minute and a super cute snowman the next!

No Melt Snowman
Supplies:
1 lg oblong foam craft pumpkin
1 med round foam craft pumpkin
spray paint
orange modeling clay
black modeling clay
foam hat (found at local craft stores)
thick Christmas ribbon
2 sicks for arms
hot glue gun
Optional:
additional decorations for hat
Spray both craft pumpkins with white spray paint. Let dry.
Cut stem off large pumpkin so the med pumpkins sets flat on top. Glue pumpkins together with hot glue.
Form orange clay into carrot nose and form black clay into small round pieces of “coal” for eyes, mouth and buttons.
Glue ribbon and any other decorations onto hat using low-temperature on glue gun to keep from melting hat. Glue hat to top of snowman.
Wrap ribbon around the snowman for his scarf and add glue to secure it to the snowman.
Glue on clay eyes, nose, mouth and buttons.
Poke small hole in pumpkin and press sicks in for snowman's arms. Add touch of glue to secure.
Enjoy!
Tip: If you cant find the foam hat at your local craft store get a little crafty and make one out of sheets of black foam or black felt. A little more work but you can do it!
