About My Blog

I don't know about any of you but I am always searching for the perfect recipe or the perfect project. When I say perfect I don't mean perfect in the way of taking 6 hours to cook a 5 course meal and everything falls into place flawlessly. I'm talking about something that my family will enjoy eating or doing without the hours of searching.

I don't want recipes that are over seasoned or overly complicated. I don't want to look through 5,000 chicken noodle soup recipes to find the most simple and most delicious one. When I want a project for me and the kids to do I want it to be something that we can actually do together. If its a project that I should be doing myself i want to know in advance so i dont get the kids all excited only to relise its really too advanced for a 4 year old.

This is a blog for real families. I was tired of weeding through all of the recipes, crafts and other project that turned out to be too time consuming, too difficult or too fancy schmancy for my everyday. This is a real website for real families where tips and tricks will be shared to make your everyday easier!

It's a one stop quick place to find simple recipes and projects that have been tested by me and my family and passed on to you to make your life easier. Everything on this blog may not be spelled correctly or punctuated perfectly but I am a real mom with a real family and as we all know everything isn't always perfect. Feel free to tweak any recipe or project to suit yourself and your family.

I'm hoping to post new recipes, projects, and tips every Friday so please pop back on a regular basis and don't forget to tell your friends! Also I am always looking for great ideas so feel free to pass
along any fun ideas you have in your repertoire.  If there are any recipe you are having a hard time finding.....I am willing to do the hard work of piece-mealing recipes together and testing until I get it right.

Always look to the right of my page at the Amazon carousal where you will find a link to purchase some of the items you will need when making the recipes or projects from this blog.

If you miss a week of posts all past recipes, projects and tips are archived at the left hand side of my page.

Hopefully I can inspire you to enjoy cooking and crafting as much as I do!

As always.......THANK YOU!
