Shopping Break!

Well I’m sorry this posting is a little delayed but there was an important mission that had to be completed......Christmas shopping!  Yes, I am one of the crazies that wake up before the sun rises to go shopping the Friday after Thanksgiving.  This year I was one of the crazies that went out at 12am Friday morning. Over the years we’ve learned that if you go to have fun and enjoy the excitement it is a great way to start out your holiday shopping.  A message for the actual crazy people that are willing to knock someone over to grab the last TV on the shelf....... Nothing materialistic is worth getting that worked up over!  No TV, no DVD player, no DVD, no CD, no hard drive, no computer...nothing! If your kids have that one less gift under the tree they probably wont  miss it.  Its the excitement you create for them, the meaning and tradition that you pass along and the love that makes Christmas the magical holiday it is. So next year I’ll be there ready to begin my Christmas shopping, enjoying the search and again watching in awe all the people that will probably never really understand the true meaning of Christmas.
With that said I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  As promised this week I have a super great way for you to use your turkey and veggie leftovers.  I use this same recipe through out the year with chicken and a bag of frozen mixed veggies but for this week we’ll let turkey be in the front and center of this recipe!
Hopefully you have a couple craft pumpkins laying around left over from Halloween. If not run over to your local craft store to pick up the last couple they have on clearance because I have a craft that you can display all winter long with only few supplies needed.
As always a quick tip that is small but saves lots of time in your day to day!
Wishing everyone a safe and joyous start to their holiday season!
