Always Looking!

One more full work week before the Thanksgiving holiday!  Yippee!!!  Its always fun to spend time with family and friends and to take a break from our busy lives. I had a fun week of trying some new recipes.  I would love to say that they were direct posts but they did not get the two thumbs up from all of the family members.  Although some are pickier than others, like I'm sure it is at your house as well, I only like to post recipes that I feel have the most chance to be a 100% hit! So needless to say I have some tweaking to do on some of these new found recipes before they are posted for all to see. Of course I did use some of our family favorites to fill in the blanks.  I don't know about your family but mine doesn't like too many “new creations” in a row.
I know sometimes instead of a heavy dinner a quick salad seems to be the best route. I have a salad recipe that is so tasty that I have made few others since I came across this one.  Plus I would like to add that my child that would pick anything over a veggie has requested this salad as a dinner multiple times.  Need I say more??? It is YUMMY, easy and oh so versatile!
My tip this week helps in the kitchen and keeps the wasting down to a minimum which is always a good thing for you and your pocket book!
What would Thanksgiving be without turkey’s?  I have a super cute project the kids will love.   They get to get a little messy (not too messy don't panic) while creating a little memory at the same time.
Have a safe and happy week!!
