This is a super fun project to do with the kids. They love it because they finally get to paint themselves! I’ve used these on thank you cards around Thanksgiving and as decorations. You could even make placemats for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone can take theres home for a little memory that will last forever.
Turkey Prints!
White paper
Watercolor paints
Paintbrush
Fine tipped marker
1 cute little hand
Have your child place their hand palm side up.
Paint their thumb and palm using the brown watercolor paint.
Have them paint each of their other four fingers a different color.
Next have them press their hand on the sheet of white paper. I find it easier to let them press it anywhere on the paper and then cut it out after it is finished. This way you can glue it where ever you’d like and you don't have to stress about getting their hand positioned perfectly.
Let the paint dry completely.
Add cute little additions like eyes, a beak, wings and a hat with your fine tipped marker.
Now your ready to cut it out and decorate for the holiday!
