I'm thankful for......

The countdown has begun and we are only seven days away from getting to sit back, relax and indulge a little more than usual.  Nothing is better than Thanksgiving dinner with all the yummy sides and great company sitting along side us.  As long as I can remember my Mom has pulled out all the stops for Thanksgiving dinner with the biggest turkey that can possibly fit into her oven, sides that make you want not only seconds but thirds if you can do it, and the Thanksgiving staple....pumpkin pie! It really is something to look forward to!
As I sit down this Thanksgiving I’m going to be especially thankful for my three kids that brighten up my everyday. They continue to force me to better myself in the pursuit of giving them the best life possible.  For my husband that is willing to not only work to financially support our family but to work to better our relationship as a family as well.  I take great pride in knowing that we love each other enough to change the things that we struggle with and continue to grow as individuals, as a couple and as a family. I cannot and will not forget to be thankful for the good health of all my family and friends.  Miracles do happen from a quick recovery to the birth of our newest family member and for that I am thankful.  Last but not least for our family and friends that would stop traffic to be by your side at any sign of trouble. I am blessed in many ways and for that I am thankful everyday.
Now it is time to thank you for taking the time to read my creations, my ideas and my opinions. I hope that I bring a smile to your face and a little creativity to your heart.  I hope you can use my ideas to enjoy the time spent in the kitchen or maybe putting together a little something to personalize your home and create a memory that will last forever.
As you sit down at the table on Thanksgiving you may be looking for a creative way to brighten up your table while giving a little direction to your guests.  This weeks project will do both and the kids will love helping you create it.
The recipe I have for you this week will make you thankful that you gave yourself a free pass to indulge. While it doesn't take away a Thanksgiving favorite it gives it that little something extra that makes it oh so yummy.
The tip this week will make it easy to archive away all your favorite recipes while keeping them organized, clean and easy to read.
Have a safe a happy holiday!
Next week:  A GREAT recipe to use up all those leftovers!
