Mummy Pumpkin
This is a great project for the kiddies! These pumpkins are so easy and super cute when finished.
You will need
(1) Foam Craft Pumpkin
(1) Pkg Cheesecloth
(2) Lg Googly Eyes
Craft Glue
First start by cutting the cheese cloth into about 2 inch strips length wise.
Next start at the top and squeeze glue on the surface of the pumpkin. If your kids like to get messy have them use their hands to spread it around or a sponge brush for a little cleaner version. Once you have the glue on the top of the pumpkin start to wrap the pumpkin with the cheese cloth glueing the cheese cloth down as you go.
As you continue wrapping the pumpkin leave a small gap in the front of the pumpkin where you will later secure the eyes. Wrap your pumpkin as much or as little as you like.
After your pumpkin is completely wrapped secure your two large googly eyes in the front.
Let your pumpkin dry completely before placing on display!
Variations:
**You can soak the cheesecloth in a bowl of water with some teabags to give the cheesecloth an old weathered look. Just let the cheesecloth soak for about an hour and hang to dry completely before gluing on pumpkin.
**Add a couple plastic spiders to add to the spookiness!
Happy Haunting!
